Toddlers are explorative learners full of wonder, energy, and curiosity! They are developing greater independence and discovering their unique voice and interests. Our hands-on toddler program encourages active learning, self-help skills, and lots of sensory exploration for busy toddlers!

Our Early Childhood Educators take the time to learn about each child through careful observation and daily communication with families to understand their unique personalities and routines. Families receive daily updates about their child’s learning, eating, sleeping, and toileting in person and via our family communication app.

Curriculum

Our Toddler Curriculum covers self-help skills, social and emotional development, colours, shapes, the body, physical developmental milestones, early literacy and numeracy skills, and the foundations for learning. Our program provides stimulating activities, group times and projects, intentional teaching, free play, and sensory exploration.

Learning Environment

Our toddler environment is a fun and interactive learning space with open shelves and project tables inviting interest and exploration. Our toddler room has nappy change benches and children’s toilet facilities to support toilet training. There is a separate space for meal times, group activities, and learning stations.

Daily Routine

The daily routine in our toddler environment caters to children’s individual needs and interests. Children enjoy social mealtimes, individual and group learning experiences, a balance of indoor and outdoor play, and spontaneous and intentional teaching times. Regular toileting, hand washing, and nappy changes occur throughout the day, as well as rest and relaxation.
